With Salad Dressing

So some people want to know just when Spencer and myself will start filming this baby of a tv show. Well not right now that's for sure. I don't know about you, but I don't feel like frezzing to death just to make the greatest show ever. No sir. But as soon as the weather clears up and thigns are so unforgivingly cold all the time we will begin shooting. I'm guessing that my cryptic answer means sometime in April. This isn't a problem, it just means that Specner and I can write more episodes before we start shooting. And by the way, the script for the first episode IS complete. We'll hand them out a week or so before shooting..... or a day maybe.... you'll get them at least a day before shooting, and by you I mean.... well you know who you are. Spencer and I could start gathering alot of the props and costumes that we will be needing now though, yeah, that would probably be a good idea...... but I'm tired, and I don't feel like typing out a huge (yeah it's huge) list of all the crap that we need for the first few episodes right now. I'll do it tomarrow if possible.... so maybe on Saturday I'll do it. That's all, I'm bored with typing now, and you should be bored of reading by now, cause this post has gone down into something awful, like a hotdog deepfryed inside of a hamburger..... that's some gnarly stuff that is. Oh god, why am I still typing, I've lost all purpose in saying anything worthwhile..... yeah I'm done.

Peace out!

~Max~

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://transitproject.blogspot.com/2007/03/adressing-some-issues-with-salad.html' title='Adressing Some Issues.... We have decided that the only way we will be able to properly film and produce The Transit Show, we are going to need to form a crew, a group of people who we can regularlly count on to get together and make a show with. The amount of people we came up with for a desirable crew was bigger than we had thought though, a few actors that we can count on every week (at least two guys and two girls), at least one replacement cameraman for when I can't be behind it, an assistant director, and then at least one or two other people for odd jobs and extra support. I didn't even mention the people we'll need once we start editing the film together and it's already a rather daunting list.

The biggest problem won't be in finding people who are willing to do these things, but people who will be able to and will be reliable and available when we need them. Saturday will pretty much be our only day to shoot episodes, so we'll need people who are available on Saturdays (all saturday) whenever we need them. We'll also need people that we can count on to take things seriously and to contribute to the project. Yes this will be a comedic undertaking, and I intend to keep shooting days as light hearted and care free as possible, but I also intend to do this show completely professionally. I'll expect people to put effort into being a part of it, and if we can't do something good, we're not going to do it at all.

What I've suggested in my above statements has probably made the prospect of helping out with the show, or possibly being part of "the crew", seem a fair deal less fun. And I understand if some people can't or simply won't put the kind of effort I'm asking for into the project, and that is fine. Only say that you'll be a part of the crew, if you don't mind taking it seriously. If you don't, you can always help by simply letting us borrow props or costume pieces. That will be greatly appreciated as well.

If you are still interested in being a part of "the crew" then please let Spencer or myself know. We'll be contacting a few of you shortly, but if we don't contact you, please don't be discouraged from saying you want to help. If we don't ask you, it's probably just because we assume that you wouldn't be able to meet the demands we will be making, but maybe we're wrong about you. That's all I have to say for this post. Spencer and I are putting the finishing touches on the first episode's script, so we will shortly post a list of the characters who will be in it, and the costumes and props that we will need. Thanks for any help that any of you give us.

~Max~

Birth of A Brilliant Idea

Hey folks, Max here, here to tell all of you about the awsome amazing project that Spencer and myself will be starting soon. Let me tell you right now, prepare yourself for amazment the likes of which you have never ever known..... why don't I actually fill you in on just what this project is and how it came about.

BACKGROUND INFO
Some of you already know, but for those who don't, I plan on going to film college to become a movie director. For my last birthday, my parents got me a brand new video camera. Now I've been trying to think of fun and creative ways to test out my new camera, just today the idea of making a tv show struck me, but wait, I can't be in it (at least not very often) because I have to be manning the camera most of the time. I had to find someone else to star in it, and I could think of no one more suited to have his own tv show than Spencer. I immediatly contacted him with the idea and he was all for it. And that was how this most glorious idea came into creation.

ABOUT THE SHOW
The show will be about Spencer going out and sticking it to the man, going on hilarious adventures, and poking fun at everything which so badly needs to be poked. It will star Spencer, and I'll be showing up whenever I can afford to let someone else handle the camera. Along with that, we'll be asking many people to help out by playing other characters, lending us props/costumes, but more on that in a bit. Currently we have a ten episode season planned, whether we do anything more after that can't be said. Just for some fun, I'll give you some very short summaries for the first three episodes.

Episode 1: Stickin It To The Man
Frustrated by the dull nature of his hometown, Spencer sets out to shake things up through hard rocking, foul language, and armed robbery.

Episode 2: Sick Day
Spencer gets sick and takes the day off to get better. Max becomes convinced that Spencer’s cold is serious and calls up a doctor of questionable practices.

Episode 3: Perfect Gift
A friend’s birthday is coming up and Spencer needs to find the perfect gift. Things only get more complicated when a conman shows up.

HELPING OUT
Spencer and I are already very aware that we will be needing alot of help from others, whether it is as big as playing an actual part in the episode, or just lending us some kind of prop. If you are interested or at least willing to help with our project, then either comment here about it, or tell either Spencer or myself in person. We aren't going to start filming until a bit after Speech ends, so don't expect any calls from us until then. When we are writing the scripts for the episodes if we add in a character and we think that you should play that character, we will give you call about it. So just be patient about it, and we'll probably call you eventually.

Well that is about all for now. Spence and I will update this blog whenever we have news about the show, so stay tuned, cause we will soon be rocking your socks off and blowing your minds with the most incredibly amazing tv show ever!

~Max~
